Named conditions are the examples each label gives: hypertension, dyslipidemia and type 2 diabetes in both labels; obstructive sleep apnea and cardiovascular disease are also named in the Zepbound label. The checker does not evaluate contraindications, warnings, pregnancy, age, or any other indication (the Wegovy cardiovascular indication, the Zepbound sleep apnea indication).

Assumptions, checked September 4, 2026

Cut points come from the Wegovy and Zepbound labels, which define adult obesity as BMI 30 kg/m² or greater and overweight as BMI 27 kg/m² or greater, and pair overweight with at least one weight-related comorbid condition.
The Ozempic and Mounjaro labels describe adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise. Neither is approved for weight reduction.
The checker reads label wording only. It does not diagnose any condition, does not assess contraindications, and does not decide eligibility. A licensed prescriber does that.
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA approved, have no label, and are not interchangeable with these products. This checker reads the brand labels only.
BMI is not adjusted for age, sex, ethnicity, muscle mass or pregnancy.
